Greg Rickford Attends Ceremony for Kenora’s First Habitat for Humanity House

MP Greg Rickford attended the dedication ceremony of Kenora’s first Habitat for Humanity house on October 13th. Following over a year of fundraising and four months of construction the house is now ready to become the home of Ashley Neniska and her daughter Avery. Rickford acknowledged the efforts of the chairman of the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, Ralph Page, who was instrumental in the inaugural build as well as Thelma Wilkins-Page the fundraising chair person.”What this really symbolizes is community partnerships and strength and the desire of community members to come together for an important cause”, said Rickford.
