Greg Rickford Named Minister of State Science & Technology and FedNor

July 15, 2013 – Today the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced that he was naming Greg Rickford to his Cabinet in the role of Minister of State Science and Technology, and FedNor.


“Today, I was honoured to be asked by Prime Minister Harper to serve Canadians as the Minister of State for Science and Technology as well as the Minister of State for FedNor.” said Greg.

“I am humbled by the responsibility the Prime Minister has placed in me.

A critical part of our government’s Economic Action Plan is advancing science and research to secure Canada’s long term prosperity.

I am looking forward to working with my Cabinet colleagues as we focus on creating jobs and growing Canada’s economy.”
